Back in 2015, the plagiarism of the Santa María Tlahuitoltepec traditional blouse by the French designer Isabel Marant was scandalous in many ways, for us the disrespect or the 600 years of tradition, history, and meaning plus the lack of recognition for the Artisans was the worst of it.
